Look, we love making drinks, but we also quite like having a planet to drink them on. That’s why we’re card-carrying members of 1% for the Planet, meaning 1% of all our revenue goes straight to the legends fighting to keep the environment from collapsing.

Yes, that means every time you buy a bottle of SIMPLE, a few cents of your hard-earned cash bypasses our pockets and goes directly to saving the world. You’re practically an eco-warrior just for being thirsty.

Our corporate philosophy is pretty complex, but it basically boils down to this: if humans destroy the Earth, it’s going to be really, really hard to sell you beverages. Call us selfish, but we reckon keeping the human race alive is a pretty solid business strategy for the long term.

Because we hate wasting cash as much as you do, we don’t just throw this money at any random cause. We hand-pick the organisations that actually know how to get things done, ensuring our bucks do the absolute most damage to environmental destruction.

Planting millions of trees because we’re horrible at math

We want to ensure that any greenhouse gases caused by our drinks are completely neutralised, leaving the atmosphere exactly how we found it. The catch? We’re a small, family-owned business. We simply do not have the time, money, or emotional stability to calculate the exact footprint of every single litre of fuel, drop of water, and kilowatt of power used in our fruit-growing, juice-squeezing, glass-bottling, warehousing, and delivery.

We try to use as little energy as possible, but we still need to wipe our emissions slate clean. So, we did what any sensible, busy human would do: we copied off someone else’s homework.

We took the published carbon footprint data from Oatly—a brand we love, trust, and don’t compete with. Then, just to be absolutely sure we aren’t short-changing Mother Nature, we added an extra 50% to their numbers.

We use that oversized estimate to offset our footprint through Regenerate Australia. They are an incredible local charity that has restored over 5,500 hectares of land, planted more than 6 million trees, and captured a massive 668,799 tonnes of carbon. They do the heavy lifting of restoring Aussie bushland and improving soils so you can keep drinking without the climate guilt.
